Anna and Tia....

Life is never simply ideal,
Moments come when your hand slips off the wheel.
Sometimes, love’s lost and violence holds power,
Remember, a house needn’t always shine like a star.
You may encounter a soul who alters your life's path,
It might be tough, but if it's love, embrace the scars.
In the pages of your life, some may be torn and misbegotten,
But they were written for you to read, not merely forgotten.
Friends' footsteps may shine at your beach’s edge near,
But sometimes the ocean prevails, making them disappear.
At times, life may feel on its last hinges, slowly breaking,
Hold fast to your life’s door; it was created to be your cure.
All of it is unexplainable at its core; life is just unsure.
Like a poem, often lovely to read,
Yet if it lacks sense, it's no less a seed.
It will foster into such a beautiful tree,
Which bestows you the air to breathe,
Which becomes the reason you feel free.
Love’s a mystery to guide through,
A fence so prone to crash through.
It’s more like a valley with its crests and troughs,
The scents of marigolds with the orange sunsets,
Lays of water through the caves of silhouettes.
No need to drown in it and sell your gradient soul,
Find a hand to hold till the worms eat your molds.
If your cards don’t work, don’t you dare fold.
You make a royal flush with all your bad luck.
Be proud of your body and the way it stuck.
Whenever doubt roams your dark mind,
Think of a leaf; it all lies hidden in its biology.
Aren’t all leaves cursed to nature’s rarity?
There exist spiked tips and curved petioles in their fates,
Now, they don’t shed if they feel afraid of their shapes.
You mustn't be naive; your body doesn't define your speech,
Love yourself like a rose, delicate, blooming within reach.
All this is a letter written as a secret for your eyes,
It’s a guide, a memoir of all our lies.
In the depths of our minds, secrets linger near,
Tales too potent for your eyes, too heavy to bear.
It’s a secret we vowed to keep,
Smiles and pocket watches seen,
Lamps tethered to television screens.
All this showmanship frames a circus for you to laugh,
Our broken shards, not meant to bleed your heart.
I will make sure your innocence isn’t ruined like ours.
You both will grow like the roars of the tiger shows,
Become a cement wall against a world so immature.
It’s something in your eyes that makes us live mighty.
You both will grow like the queen of the waves, my Aphrodites.
Roads spent warying to give rise to tunnels where you dive,
Your mom and dad shed to make sure you are the ones who thrive.
You both will grow up but not in the way we four were forced to survive.
The heart within beats for unspoken harmonies,
When my eyes attract notice on you two remedies.
I have bled through so many lost wars,
I had lost all hope for a life amicably premature,
But it’s when you two ring-a rose all summer long,
I feel as if I could shoot an arrow to healing,
Not for my sake, but for the two of you breathing.
Life’s a wave that transcends each once or twice,
My palms into your hands; stood will be my defense each time.
There will be cruel sharks with whites aiming with guns,
Let me go under; for you deserve to stand and see the sun.
My breath’s grasp has strengthened over the years,
I will take notice of each and every one of my endeavours,
Recite to you two the reasons life pushes one down whenever,
To make sure you never bleed for knives that aren’t keen,
To make sure you never drown in waves that aren’t even mean.
The glowing stars above your tiny white bed,
Vanilla ice cream melting on your little hands,
It’s so sweet, the little half smiles and smirks you give,
Uphold the little dolls and unicorns and just please live.
I am so proud of you two, my little baby nieces.
It’s so sweet, you jumping off the swings each evening,
Come begging for eggies when you see me running.
Life is not big enough for you to keep on smiling.
Peekaboo with the rainy moments of my life,
Come and go, covered in mud all night.
It’s so sweet, you have no idea about this life.
You’re so small, but you yield so much power.
You make everything go hush when you wake me up.
I can’t promise that nothing ever turns sideways,
But if it does, I will be there to feel it with you always.
Smile once more; it’s so sweet to even be with your eyes.
It’s so innocent, CoComelon rhymes make Taylor cease.
It’s so innocent, we play stick and hit all night with cheese.
It’s so innocent, I don’t know how I deserve to just see you be.
I love you....
